When the two new 350MW supercritical generating units of Panjin Power Station were coming to the final completion, the low pressure steam bypass valve located on the pipeline of No. 1 unit failed. The valve which was originally manufactured by the German company Bopp&Reuther broke down since the stem was stuck firmly in the cage and could not be moved.

On March 26th,2014,Binda Company was invited to go to Panjin Power Station to help solve the problem. Technicians and workers from Binda went to the working site, and eventually completed the arduous task of separating the stem from the cage. The inner scratched surface of the cage then underwent with the process of welding, heat treatment, and polishing. The customer was satisfied when the newly renovated valve was finally put into use in great condition.
